GREENVILLE, SC – Global Location Strategies (GLS), a leading international site-selection firm, has announced the launch of their new software products through the formation of an independent company called Strata Platforms.
The decision to spin out the software products comes as a strategic opportunity to provide clients and stakeholders with even better software solutions. Didi Caldwell, president and CEO of GLS, expressed excitement about the new venture, stating, “These products have transformed the way we do our work, and we believe that forming Strata Platforms will allow us to increase the value we offer to our clients.”
Strata Platforms will be led by Charles Houser, a veteran entrepreneur with extensive experience in the technology sector. The company plans to invest in and improve GLS’s existing cloud-based technologies, as well as develop new solutions to serve the site selection, commercial real estate, and economic development markets.
As part of the transition, Strata Platforms will continue to deliver software services to its subscribers and users globally, including property marketing (LOIS) and property-data collection (Lasso).
