Furman breaks ground on Timmons Arena renovation project

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Greenville, Furman University officially broke ground on the $40 million Timmons Arena renovation project. Following a 1:30 p.m. Fan Fair, Furman President Elizabeth Davis, Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Jason Donnelly, and players representing the Paladin men’s and women’s basketball programs delivered remarks prior to the official groundbreaking and photo opportunity, which also included basketball team head coaches Bob Richey and Pierre Curtis.
