Flying Fox Coffee Announces Expansion into Main Street Art Gallery in Greenville

Flying Fox Coffee to Expand into Main Street Art Gallery in Greenville

Flying Fox Coffee Ventures into a Creative Space

In an exciting development in Greenville‘s bustling coffee scene, Flying Fox Coffee, is set to spread its wings into a newly imagined location. Slated to open in March, the local coffee joint is planning to expand into an art gallery based on South Main Street – an ambitious move that blends stimulating coffee culture with visual artistry.

Currently, the much-loved coffee shop boasts its original residence inside the popular Cartwright Food Hall in Greer, which is well-frequented by coffee enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This latest move is an attempt by co-owner Jeremy Hartman and his business partner Jaime Hinckley, to enter Greenville’s thriving art scene in a big way.

Tapping into a Unique Space

Describing the walk-down gallery as a hidden gem set amid a plethora of eateries and shops, Hartman emphasized, “The exciting fusion of coffee and art is bound to create an inviting space for Greenville residents and visitors alike.” Flying Fox Coffee will inhabit the same architectural space as Open Art Studios, which has been held by gallery owner Ashley Brickner since 2018.

Brickner envisaged that introducing a café into the artistic milieu of her studio would not only enhance its appeal to a larger audience but also continue to foster a friendly atmosphere. An admirer of Flying Fox’s marketing strategies and environment-friendly practices, Brickner, a Greer resident herself, brokered the idea during one of her visits to Cartwright Food Hall.

A Shared Vision

Having always been looking to penetrate the Greenville market, Hartman and Hinckley found the proposition appealing. It wasn’t long before they agreed to explore this unparalleled opportunity. Hartman emphasized: “Ashley’s vision of a common space where people can converge and interact echoes our own ethos.”

Hartman further hinted that the new location might showcase their personal flair with a hint of punk rock vibe infused into the design. Though the ambiance may mark a shift from their original establishment, customers can still expect their signature homemade syrups and house-crafted coffees.

Conclusion

This merger of coffee and artistry is committed to delivering an enhanced and enriching experience to its customers. Both the teams are thrilled about this ambitious venture which aims to represent Greenville’s vibrant art and culture scene.

Flying Fox Coffee’s new location at 14 S. Main St. in downtown Greenville is expected to open in March where it will offer an innovative fusion of coffee and art in the local scene.

Looking Forward…

In a market teeming with coffee shops, Flying Fox Coffee sets itself apart through its creative ventures that are less commonplace yet extremely fascinating. The co-location with the art gallery is a bold move illustrating the company’s confidence in bending conventional norms and carving a niche for itself. As Greenville waits with bated breath, it will be interesting to see this unique amalgamation of aromatic brews amid an inspiring artistic setting.
