Weekend Activities (16 – 18 August)

Salsa at Sunset: Showcasing Latin Culture

On August 16, spice up your evening with “Salsa at Sunset” at the Camperdown Plaza from 7 p.m. This free, family-friendly event celebrates Latin music and culture, organized by Upstate International and BDV Solutions. Guests can even receive free salsa dance lessons from Pura Alegría Dance instructors starting at 6:15 p.m.

Walk on the Runway: A Unique Aviation Experience

The Greenville Downtown Airport is offering a rare opportunity to walk on their runway on August 17. This Foreign Object Debris Walk takes place from 6 to 8:30 a.m. It’s a unique experience not to be missed!

TD Saturday Market: Fresh Produce and Crafts

Get your shopping bags ready for the TD Saturday Market on July 27 in downtown Greenville. Open from 8 a.m. to noon, visitors can explore a wide variety of vendors, enjoy children’s activities and much more.

During The Week (19 – 25 August)

Toddler Time with Curious George

Head to the Upcountry History Museum at 10 a.m. on August 20. Young ones can enjoy a fun-filled morning with their favorite monkey, Curious George, at Toddler Time. Online registration is required.

Greenville Drive: Enjoy America’s Pastime

Catch the Greenville Drive in action on August 20 and August 21 at Fluor Field. The first pitch is at 7:05 p.m. Get your mitts ready for some great family-friendly minor-league baseball.

Indulge in Imaginative Play

On August 21, the Hughes Main Library is hosting a Playdough Playdate at 10:30 a.m. suitable for children aged 2 to 6. There’s even a gluten-free playdough alternative available. Let the kids’ creative instincts run free!

Paris Mountain State Park’s Volunteer Orientation

Adults who are keen on sharing their love for the natural world can sign up for the Paris Mountain State Park’s School Program Volunteer Orientation taking place on August 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
