This shiny new facility is not just a building; it’s a major leap forward for our region’s infrastructure and services in the growing world of wastewater management.

Let’s rewind a bit! Over the past three years, MetroConnects has been on an incredible journey. They’ve doubled their service area and staff after regionalizing seven wastewater collection systems in Greenville County. That’s right—now they’re serving over 100,000 customers while maintaining an impressive 1,500 miles of infrastructure.
But as you can imagine, all this growth means they needed a bigger and better place to work! Enter the new headquarters, designed to support their motto of providing innovative, sustainable wastewater management.
What’s Inside the New Headquarters?
This spiffy new campus located at 1151 W. Butler Road in Mauldin will feature not only an administration building but also an operations and maintenance facility. Plus, there will be extra covered storage to keep everything organized and ready to go. Doesn’t that sound great?
Carol Elliot, the General Manager of MetroConnects, couldn’t be more excited! She stated, “The new campus will increase our efficiency by bringing all services, operations, and equipment together in one location.” Talk about a convenience boost! She emphasized that they’re looking forward to continuing their commitment to serving our wonderful Greenville County community while preparing for future needs.

The construction of this fantastic campus is a collaboration between JLL, who will serve as the Project Manager, and Vannoy Construction, which is managing the building efforts. So you can trust that it’s all hands on deck to ensure everything goes smoothly and on schedule—all the construction aficionados in town must be thrilled to see this in action!
