Exciting Change on the Horizon for Greenville as Lima One Capital Moves Headquarters!

Hey Greenville! Big news is coming your way as Lima One Capital, your local real estate lender, has just announced their plans to move their corporate offices to a brand new location right in the heart of downtown. The company will be relocating to 300 E. McBee Ave., and let’s just say, it’s making waves in the local business community!

More Space to Grow and Thrive

Lima One isn’t just settling for a small corner office. Nope! They’re taking on over 60,000 square feet of space, setting up shop on the second and third floors of this impressive building. How cool is that? The CEO of Lima One, Josh Woodward, shared that they’re aiming to make the big move in the summer of 2025. It looks like they’ll have plenty of room to grow and create a fantastic working environment for their team!

A Change of Plans

You might remember that Lima One had some different plans in mind for their new digs. They were originally looking to move their headquarters from 201 E. McBee Ave. to the County Square redevelopment along University Ridge. However, they decided to backtrack,” pulling out of the lease last November. Why, you ask? Well, it seems the development project was moving a bit slower than expected. Sometimes you just have to pivot!

A Revitalization Effort

The exciting move to 300 E. McBee is part of a broader $38 million redevelopment project currently being undertaken by Hughes Commercial Properties. Harrison Hughes, the executive vice president of Hughes Commercial Properties, expressed his excitement and said that Lima One’s decision is a significant milestone not only for their firm but for the city of Greenville at large. “Their presence reinforces our vision of creating a dynamic business hub in the heart of downtown,” Hughes emphasized. Sounds like everyone is thrilled about this new chapter!

A Growing Workforce

Lima One already employs about 300 individuals, with most of their associates based right here in Greenville County. Woodward shared his enthusiasm for creating a workplace that empowers his employees. “We are looking forward to partnering with Hughes Commercial Properties in the revitalization of one of the most marquee, iconic buildings in Greenville,” he said. His vision is clear: they’re aiming to create a unique space that both employees and clients will love.

What’s Next for Greenville?

As the news buzzes around downtown, it’s clear that Lima One Capital is set to play a pivotal role in the ongoing transformation of our beloved city. By moving into this updated office space, they’re not just securing a new home, but they’re also contributing to making downtown Greenville even more vibrant.

With such anticipation building toward the summer of 2025, we can hardly wait to see how everything unfolds. Will Lima One’s new office become the next go-to spot in the city? Only time will tell! For now, it’s all about preparing for a bright, productive future that promises new opportunities for growth and innovation.
