In Greenville: Looking Forward to the Euphoria Food Festival

As school sessions take over, stress levels tend to sky-rocket. However, for the residents of Greenville, there is a savory treat to look forward to at the end of the month – the euphoria food festival. Various locations in the city will be hosting the food, wine, and music festival from September 19th to 22nd. While most events are already sold out, the good news is that there are still tickets left for some fantastic options for a Saturday daytime or evening date.

euphoria Greenville: A feast for food, wine, and music lovers

The annual euphoria festival has been expanding over the years offering more and more events. Luckily, there opportunities for everyone, from beer lovers to food aficionados. Whether it’s the “Prost!” for the beer lovers, the “Reign of the Terroir” for wine connoisseurs, or the “An Unbeetable Fusion” and “Unexpected Expectation” for food gallants, euphoria Greenville has covered it all.

Prost!

The Prost!, on Sept. 21, a beer event curated by the co-owners of The Whale, Jesse Van Note and Andrew Ross, showcases an excellent talent lineup of German beers paired with delightful bites from Charleston chef Jacques Larson, from the Wild Olive and The Obstinate Daughter.

Reign of the Terroir

Reign of the Terroir, on Sept. 21, offers a unique gastronomic experience that won’t leave you indifferent. Participants have the opportunity to play Sherlock Holmes, with the aid of a sommelier, to determine the terroir while Mission Grape, Greenville’s only local wine distributor, pours them a variety of exquisite old- and new-world wines.

An Unbeetable Fusion

An unbeatable fusion, also on Sept. 21, offers a plant-based dinner by local chef Jennifer Barone, known for her savvy vegan fare, and Asheville’s Nick Barr from Chai Pani, famous for its authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine. If you’re a veggie lover, you wouldn’t want to miss this unparalleled experience of delectable vegan dishes accompanied by curated wine pairings.

Unexpected Expectations

Another event on Sept. 21 catering to the food lover is the “Unexpected Expectations” at Woodside Bistro. It promises a surprising twist on the modern fare with its unique blend of Southern cuisine, courtesy of Woodside’s Ken Frazier and Steve Zurkey of The Anchorage. To enhance the experience further, cocktail pairings are included in the ticket price.

If you want to partake in this grand festival, it’s essential to act swiftly. With the festival only a few weeks away, the remaining tickets are likely to be grabbed up quickly.
