PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. – An Upstate man is facing drug trafficking charges after a K9 unit assisted deputies in sniffing out the suspect in Pickens County.
The incident took place on March 18 when the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division (Bravo Team) noticed a “suspicious person” standing beside a motorcycle on Breazeale Road in Liberty.
K9 unit “Kona” was brought in to assist and quickly alerted deputies to the presence of methamphetamine in the suspect’s possession.
The suspect, identified as Jonathan Eric Taylor, was taken into custody following the K9’s discovery. Taylor is facing several charges, including:
