The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said they are assisting New Castle Police in Delaware locate a person of interest in a sexual assault investigation who might be in the Greenville area.
New Castle Police said on June 13, they were called to a scene regarding a report of sexual assault of a child under the age of 12. The nature of the assault has not been disclosed to the public, as authorities are maintaining the confidentiality of the victim.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that New Castle Police investigators are exploring the possibility that the suspect may have ties to the Greenville area. Efforts are currently underway to track down and apprehend the individual in question.
