Infant found unresponsive in unattended bathtub
Investigators report The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center was informed by EMS on June 20 of a call regarding an unresponsive child on Hunts Bridge Road. Deputies say they found the unresponsive child in the home and conducted life-saving measures. They also say EMS took the child to the hospital where their status is reported to be stable but still critical.
Investigators report 28-year-old Lynda Lawson and 26-year-old Robert Eugene Bull, Jr., were arrested after an investigation uncovered that the child was left unattended in a bathtub for an undetermined time. Investigators also say the home was found to be unsafe. The arrest warrants list the home as being filled with fleas, roaches, and illegal narcotics and paraphernalia.
Lawson and Bull, Jr., are both charged with four counts of unlawful conduct towards a child. They have four children with one charge being for each child. They are currently being held in the Greenville County Detention Center. Each received a $20,000 bond.
