GREENVILLE – The Center for Developmental Services (CDS) has officially announced its 13th annual Eggs Benefit slated for Thursday, October 24, 2024. This notable event will take place at The Poinsett Club located in downtown Greenville, beginning with a breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed by the program start at 8:00 a.m.
The Eggs Benefit serves as a fundamental fundraising platform for CDS, with all proceedings directed towards supporting programs and services catered towards over 8,000 children in the community who have developmental delays and disabilities. Attending the Eggs Benefit requires a reservation, which can be made by visiting www.EggsBenefit.com. Those interested in sponsoring the event can reach out to Joy Blue at 864-331-1314 or via email at Joy.Blue@cdservices.org.
CDS is acknowledged as the largest multi-disciplinary treatment facility in the Upstate for children dealing with disabilities and developmental delays. Children at CDS receive integrated services, including evaluation, diagnosis, therapy, psychology, audiology, special needs childcare, early intervention, case management, and access to a family support network, all under one roof.
The CDS partnership comprises Clarity; Project Hope Foundation; Kidventures of Thrive Upstate; and four programs of Prisma Health: Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Kidnetics, The Wonder Center, and Prosthetics and Orthotics. This collective endeavour operates out of a facility located on property donated by the First Presbyterian Church at 29 North Academy Street in Greenville, SC.
CDS, along with its partners, have been making remarkable contributions to the community by providing support to over 8,000 children and their families each year. For more detailed information about CDS and its partners, interested parties can visit www.cdservices.org.
