Police identify suspect who barricaded himself inside Greenville home

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Police Department said a suspect was recently taken into custody after barricading himself inside a house in Greenville.

Officers said the situation began when they tried to pull over a driver, but they refused to stop. According to officers, they later spotted the suspect’s vehicle on Pleasant Ridge Avenue and found the suspect inside a nearby house.

Suspect’s Surrender

Officers explained that the suspect initially refused to talk to officers but eventually came out of the house, where he was taken into custody. The department later identified the suspect as Richaud Neville. He is charged with interfering with police and other charges are pending.
