GREENVILLE, SC – The city will be filled with harmonious melodies as the well-renowned Broadway star Pat Dunn is set to perform with the locally cherished children’s choir, Greenville Youth Chorale, on July 25th, 2024. The event, dubbed “An Evening with Pat Dunn,” will take place at the White Oak Baptist Church in Greenville, commencing at 7 p.m.
This night will stage the eclectic talents of Pat Dunn as he will present a variety of solo pieces, while also sharing the spotlight to perform a series of duets with Siri Howard of Greenville. The performance is not limited to just Broadway classics; the audience will be witnessing a rendition of “Pure Imagination” from the iconic “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” in collaboration with the Greenville Youth Chorale.
This performance marks Pat Dunn’s fourth year of collaboration with the Greenville Youth Chorale. “Pat is so good at relating with our singers. It’s such a treat for our kids to work so closely with someone of his caliber,” expressed Steven Brundage, the executive director of the Greenville Youth Chorale.
“An Evening with Pat Dunn” is part of the chorale’s Summer camp and concert series “Summer on Stage,” which spans from July 23 to July 26. Furthermore, the week-long program offers a unique opportunity for young singers, aged between 6 to 18 years, to assemble for rehearsals, to film, and audio record a music video in downtown Greenville at the First Presbyterian Church with Dunn.
The fees for ‘An Evening with Pat Dunn’ are $10 per person for ages between five to 18 years, and $18 for individuals over the age of 18. Tickets can be purchased online for those wishing to witness this unforgettable musical odyssey.
