Hey there, Greenville! Mark your calendars for an exciting event happening right in our community. On March 15th, 2025, The Blood Connection is hosting a special blood drive at District 356, located at 356 Field Street. This event will run from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, making it super convenient for you to swing by during your weekend plans.
The aim of this blood drive is simple yet powerful: to encourage everyone to roll up their sleeves and help save lives. Did you know that every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood? Your contribution could be the reason someone gets the care they need, and that’s pretty amazing! Each donation, while only taking about an hour of your time, can have a monumental impact on those in need.
As a little extra incentive to show up and give, all donors will walk away with $40 in rewards. This thank-you gift is made possible through the generous support of both The Blood Connection and the Greenville Drive. Who doesn’t love a win-win situation? Not only do you get to help others, but you also get rewarded for your kindness!
Planning to donate? Great! You can make the process even smoother by registering online in advance. Just visit thebloodconnection.org/greenville-drive, and you’re all set! While walk-ins are welcome, securing your spot ahead of time helps to keep things running smoothly on the day of the event.
The Blood Connection is on the front lines in our community, serving over 140 hospitals across four southeastern states. With roughly 900 employees and an operation that collects over 1,000 pints of blood daily, they truly rely on generous community members like you. They operate about 40 mobile blood drives and have 17 blood donation centers, making it easier for folks to donate.
What’s more, blood has a limited shelf life, meaning it’s critical to maintain a constant supply. This is where you come in! The Blood Connection depends heavily on local donations and partnerships with businesses. Each pint collected goes directly to those who need it the most, emphasizing the significant impact that our community can have.
So, Greenville, let’s rally together for this important cause. Whether you’re a first-time donor or a seasoned veteran, your blood donation could mean the world to someone in need. This is your chance to help, get rewarded, and be a true hero in your community.
Join us at District 356 on March 15th and show your support. Together, we can make a difference—one pint at a time!
