Local Students Celebrate Graduation Milestones

Several local students have recently achieved major milestones in their academic careers, with graduations and academic accolades marking their hard work and dedication.

University of Georgia Welcomes Benjamin Ware

In Athens, Georgia, Benjamin Ware, a resident of Hines, proudly graduated from the University of Georgia with a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence. Ware’s accomplishment is a testament to his commitment to excellence and his passion for cutting-edge technology.

Minnesota State University Mankato Graduates Shine

Closer to home, Minnesota State University Mankato celebrated the graduation of several local students:

  • Jennifer Fraik – Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing Practice
  • Anna Hamann – Graduate Certificate in Reading
  • Katelyn Hansen – Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude
  • Matthew Jensen – Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Summa Cum Laude

Andrew Nelson and Katie Nelson from Cass Lake have been recognized for their academic achievements at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. Both students were named to the president’s list for maintaining a GPA of 3.75 or higher during the spring 2024 semester.
