Art & Light Gallery will host its annual small works exhibition to celebrate its 18th anniversary, beginning July 30. The exhibition, which features works by various artists, will be on display virtually on the gallery’s website and in person at 16 Aiken St. in Greenville through August 31.
The exhibition will showcase works by artists including Diane Kilgore Condon, Rachel Van Dyke, Bella Wattles, Mimi Wyche, Teresa Roche, Taylor Adams, Annalisa Fink, and Scotty Peek. Each artist brings a unique perspective to the collection, offering viewers a diverse range of artistic styles and techniques.
Bracken Sansbury, gallery director at Art & Light Gallery, expressed excitement about the upcoming exhibition, stating, “We always look forward to the Annual Anniversary Small Works exhibition because it gives us an opportunity to showcase the work of all of the artists we represent in one show. It’s also an incredible milestone to celebrate eighteen years as a gallery in Greenville. We love being able to commemorate this achievement with the friends, collectors, and artists who have made 18 years possible.”
To celebrate the new collection, Art & Light Gallery will host a reception with small bites by Kitchen Concierge and signature cocktails provided by Neon Moon Mobile Bar from 6 to 8 p.m. on August 2 at the gallery. This event will offer attendees the chance to engage with the artwork in person and meet some of the featured artists.
For those unable to attend the gallery in person, the virtual exhibition on the gallery’s website will provide a convenient way to view and appreciate the artwork from the comfort of their own homes. This online platform offers a unique opportunity for art enthusiasts to explore the diverse collection of small works at their own pace.
The annual small works exhibition not only highlights the talent of local artists but also serves as a celebration of creativity and artistic expression in the Greenville community. By showcasing a variety of styles and mediums, the exhibition aims to inspire and engage a broad audience of art lovers.
