Anderson County Secures Funding for Construction of Pickleball Courts at Dolly Cooper Park

The leisure sport world in Anderson County took a vibrant leap forward as county officials recently announced the receipt of a significant grant to establish pickleball courts at the esteemed Dolly Cooper Park. The local administration revealed that they had acquired substantial financial backing for this project, amounting to $573,151.

A Local Collaboration towards Community Development

The crucial financial endowment was mobilized through the advocacy of State Senator Richard Cash, the primary sponsor of the grant. Embracing the successful procuring of funds, county officials are now moving towards the final stages of the pickleball courts’ design and development.
