Really Good, Really Big, Really Cheap Book Sale Comes to Greenville on Aug 10th

A Festival of Books and Literacy

This much-awaited event isn’t just significant for its impressive collection of books. Organized by the Greenville Literacy Association (GLA), it serves as a significant step towards combating poverty in the community through improving adult literacy.

Two Days of Bibliophilic Bliss

The two-day book sale is free for all attendees and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 10, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 11. The event boasts not just a vast and diverse catalogue of books, but it is also an opportunity to join forces in a noble cause.

Getting the Party Started

To kick things off, a special dinner party will be held on August 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission for this event can be purchased online. It is a wonderful opportunity to mingle with like-minded individuals, while supporting a cause that impacts the community.

The proceeds from the book sale and kick-off party will go towards supporting the GLA’s mission to offer accessible and effective adult education services in Greenville County.
