Programming ends at Greer’s Victor Gym and ball field
After years of memories made, programming run by Greer’s Parks, Recreation, and Tourism (PRT) Department at Victor Gym and Victor ball field came to an end on Monday, June 3. In their monthly March 2024 report, the department announced that while it would end programming on the third, the outdoor basketball courts will stay open.
The City plans to keep the courts open as long as possible, until the goals are dismantled. A date for the official closure of the courts will be announced later. Greer PRT hopes to have all equipment removed and relocated to other facilities by June 27.
Remaining Open
The outdoor basketball courts at Victor Gym will remain open for the time being, allowing residents to continue using the facility until further notice. The City of Greer is committed to providing recreational opportunities to the community, even as programming at Victor Gym comes to a close.
Equipment Removal
