Greenville High School Girls Basketball: All-Greenville Team and Player of the Year

Greenville, SC – March 28, 2024

The high school girls basketball season in Greenville, South Carolina has concluded, and it’s time to honor the top players who showcased their skills on the court. The All-Greenville team for the 2023-24 season has been announced, featuring standout players who made significant contributions to their teams’ success.

Player of the Year

The Player of the Year award for the Greenville News goes to Quinasia Abercrombie from Wade Hampton High School. Abercrombie, a senior, was named the Class AAAA state player of the year for the second consecutive season. She displayed her dominance in the playoffs with impressive performances, tallying 56 points, 41 rebounds, and 12 assists in just two games. Abercrombie averaged 23 points and 16 rebounds per game throughout the season, leading Wade Hampton to a 17-9 record.

First Team Selections

The All-Greenville first team features a talented lineup of players who excelled on the court:

  • Kyndal Haroski, Riverside | So. – Haroski played a crucial role in leading Riverside to the Class AAAA state championship, averaging 17.1 points per game. She showcased her scoring ability in the playoffs, averaging 19.3 points and contributing 15 points in the title game.
  • Anyah Henderson, Blue Ridge | Jr. – Henderson led the state in assists with 6.5 per game and also made significant contributions in rebounds and steals. She was the second-leading scorer for her team, averaging 12.9 points per game.
  • Zikira Henderson, Blue Ridge | Sr. – Henderson led Blue Ridge in scoring with 17.4 points per game and recorded the second-most 3-pointers in the state (84). She played a key role in her team’s success, along with her sister Anyah.
  • Zara Leamon, Mauldin | So. – Leamon took on the lead scoring role for defending state champion Mauldin, averaging 21.2 points per game. She also contributed 4.6 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game.

  • Elly Trickett, Riverside | Jr.
