Greenville TD SYNNEX VP Named Board President Of SC Charities

The nonprofit foundation of the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX, South Carolina Charities Inc. (SCCI), has announced the appointment of Bob Stegner as President of the Board of Directors, and Judson Conwell as Director of Corporate Partnerships and Assistant Tournament Director. Stegner used to occupy the position of Vice President of the SCCI board. In addition, he holds the title of Senior Vice President, Marketing, North America with TD SYNNEX, and is a founding board member of TD SYNNEX Share the Magic.

Stegner expressed his excitement to serve the Upstate in this new capacity looking forward to delivering “a first-class event this June.” The annual BMW Charity Pro-Am, presented by TD SYNNEX is known for engaging the community, attracting visitors and supporting important causes including the Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute; Meyer Center for Special Children; Mobile Meals of Spartanburg; Neighborhood Cancer Connection, and Roper Mountain Science Center.

All The RAGE Aims To Help Women In Mid-Life

Coming 6th April is a conference, created especially for women, by women, to provide support as they navigate through the changes and challenges of the middle years. Designed to become a crucial resource for empowering them out of isolation and providing tools and community, the conference unveils its aim with a fitting acronym, RAGE which stands for Reinventing, Activating, Growing, and Enjoying your middle years. Andrea Smith, a co-founder of the conference, explains “We don’t have anything in our community that supports this group of people.”

Lifestyle Medicine Expert From Greenville Speaks In D.C.

Bringing lifestyle medicine to the forefront of health discussions, Dr. Jennifer Trilk, Director of Lifestyle Medicine programs at the USC School of Medicine Greenville, recently served as a panelist at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Food is Medicine Summit. Dr. Trilk’s strong advocacy for lifestyle medicine as an effective approach to improve patient outcomes and combat chronic health issues was well received at the conference, reflecting the success of the lifestyle medicine concepts incorporated at the Greenville School of Medicine over the past 12 years.

Omron Automation Locates In Spartanburg County

Marking a significant stride in South Carolina’s industrial growth, Omron Automation, a global industrial automation technology company, will establish its first operation in the state in Spartanburg County. The commitment represents a $9.2 million investment that is expected to create 162 jobs over the next five years. Omron will lease and build a 60,000-square-foot production facility at 311 Genoble Road in Greer, set to commence operations this April.

Countybank Opens Greer Location

Demonstrating commitment to the Greer market, Countybank has celebrated the opening of a second financial center in the location. The new financial center at 530 W. Wade Hampton Blvd. will offer an array of personal and business banking services, loans, and insurance services, in addition to a full-service financial center, a drive-through, and an outdoor ATM.
