Get Ready for a Winter Wonderland in Greenville!
Greenville is gearing up for a magical winter event that is sure to get everyone into the holiday spirit! From December 5th to December 7th, the Greenville Convention Center will transform into a dazzling Holiday Fair & Kringle Village featuring a blend of beloved traditions.
A Fusion of Holiday Spirit
This year is particularly exciting as for the first time, the Convention Center and the Rotary Club of Greenville are teaming up to merge their holiday events. The Holiday Fair, which has been bringing cheer for 55 years, is joining forces with the Rotary’s Kringle Village, which has been a staple in the community for half a century. Matt Hollander, the General Manager of the Convention Center, is thrilled about this collaboration. “It’s exciting to bring the Rotary’s program together with ours and enjoy all the history that comes with it,” he mentions enthusiastically.
What to Expect
Attendees can look forward to a festive atmosphere that includes more than 400 vendor booths offering everything from handmade holiday decor and artwork to delicious foods and unique clothing. Santa’s workshop will also be there to entertain the kiddos with a variety of activities.
Feeling thirsty? Don’t miss the chance to relax at the European-style Bier Garden or try a cup of Gluhwein, a deliciously spiced and warm mulled wine typically served in a limited-edition cup that collectors will surely love!
Fun for Everyone
But that’s not all! The Kringle Village will feature exciting entertainment options, a VIP reception, and even an Enchanted Tea. Kids will have a blast at the North Pole kid’s zone and on the Grand Carousel. There will also be a silent auction, plus activities and food suitable for guests of all ages.
As Jane Dyer, Kringle Village co-chair noted, “Anything you love about the holidays, you will find it at Holiday Fair & Kringle Village – tons of shopping, Santa, games for the kids, Family Movie Night, along with an atmosphere and decor to match the joy and magic of the season.”

The proceeds from this enchanting weekend will support local Rotary charities, aligning perfectly with the Rotary Club of Greenville’s mission, which aims to create a wonderful holiday experience that communities can cherish year after year.

This year also marks the 60th anniversary of the Greenville Convention Center, a venue dedicated to providing space for community events. Hollander emphasizes, “One of our hardest jobs is ensuring that the community knows that the building is theirs. It’s not just for the guests we’re bringing in from out of town.” With a record revenue of $8.4 million last fiscal year, the venue is thriving, hosting everything from gala events to community favorites like the Upstate South Carolina Boat Show.

The Convention Center is spacious, boasting approximately 280,000 square feet of space to accommodate a variety of events happening simultaneously. And the team behind the scenes works hard to ensure that each event feels unique and special, creating a personal touch that keeps people coming back for more.
