This renowned charitable event, which has raised over $5 million since 1971, aims to elevate community spirit through a glamorous night of celebration. The new leadership includes Mr. William Andrew Murphy as President and other members dedicated to ensuring the success of this beloved tradition.
Get ready to mark your calendars, folks! The delightful city of Greenville is buzzing with excitement as the Charity Ball Board announces a fresh wave of leadership for the upcoming 2025 Rose Ball. This much-anticipated event, famously known as “The Grandest Ball of Them All,” is gearing up for another glamorous evening, set to take place on September 26 at the prestigious Poinsett Club.
But that’s not all! The Rose Ball Committee is also bursting with talent. Mrs. Matthew Thomas Madden, better known as Kate, is stepping up as the Rose Ball Chairman, with Mrs. William Lewis Glenn (Kerry) serving as Vice Chairman. Other key figures include Mrs. David Kay Seaver (Michelle), chairing the Benefactors Committee, and the capable Mr. Claude Calhoun Robinson taking on the role of Vice Chair. Mrs. Bartley William Sides (Katy) will oversee the Beneficiaries Committee, supported by Mrs. William Mattison King (Lelia) as her Vice Chair. These individuals are dedicated to making the Rose Ball a fantastic success!
Among the bright and dedicated members of the committee are past chairwoman Mrs. Don Wayne Cooley (Kimberly), who will bring her experience to the table. Arrangements are in the capable hands of Mrs. Bryan David Feldman (Rebecca), while the decorations will be handled by Mrs. Bradley Thomas Oliver (Taylor). Invitations are being expertly coordinated by a fantastic duo: Mrs. William Vann Kastler Jr. (Lesa) and Mrs. Charles Andrew Mowlajko (Julia). Talk about a powerhouse team!
Their commitment to the Rose Ball is further celebrated through the recognition of Lifetime Honorary Members including Mr. Gordon Lee Cory (Lee), Mrs. Erving Arthur Dreskin (Jeanet), and Ms. Joyce Batchelor Parks. A special shout-out is also extended to the Members At Large, which include a dynamic mix of individuals such as Mrs. Gerald Lee Barber (Tammy) and Mr. Leroy Wilson Brasington III (Wil). Each of these members plays a vital role in ensuring the continued success of this noble event.
